Physiotherapists treat a wide range of conditions, including sports injuries, back and neck pain, arthritis, post-surgical recovery, and chronic conditions like osteoporosis or tendonitis. They also specialise in areas like pre- and postnatal care, rehabilitation, and mobility improvement.
Do I need a referral to see a physiotherapist?
In most cases, you don’t need a referral to see a physiotherapist. However, if you’re claiming treatment through insurance, workers' compensation, or certain healthcare plans, a referral might be required.
What should I expect during my first appointment?
During your first session, our physiotherapists will assess your condition by asking about your symptoms, medical history, and lifestyle. They may perform physical tests to understand your mobility, strength, and pain levels before creating a tailored treatment plan.
The number of sessions depends on the nature and severity of your condition, your goals, and how well your body responds to treatment. Our physiotherapists will discuss this with you after your initial assessment.
We have answers.
Married in 2019, Alex and Cameron opened Synergy Sports Physiotherapy in 2018 with a shared passion for helping people move better and feel their best.
Cameron’s journey into physiotherapy began after injury cut short a promising rugby league career with the Cronulla Sharks, giving him unique insight into sports rehab and recovery.
Alex, drawing on her experience as a mother, provides compassionate pre- and postnatal care to women in the community.
Together—with their daughter Aria—they’ve built a welcoming, family-focused clinic dedicated to helping clients move, recover, and thrive.
Born and raised in Moree, Talitha brings her skills and local spirit to the Synergy team as a qualified remedial massage therapist, having completed her year-long course with Evolve College.
She’s passionate about helping clients relieve tension, recover from injuries, and feel their best.
Outside the clinic, Talitha enjoys sports, musical theatre, creative arts, and photography, bringing creativity and energy into everything she does.
